IDMA 2010 – wyniki!
W ten weekend ogłoszone zostały tak wyczekiwane przez wszystkich DJ-ów, producentów i promotorów Oskary muzyki EDM – nagrody IDMA. Czy zaskoczyły? Zakładając, że spodziewaliśmy się po nich czegoś dziwnego – z pewnością nie…
Do zaskoczeń należy z pewnością wygrana Tiesto w kategorii „best trance track”. Holendrowi pogratulować należy również prześcignięcia Armina van Buurena w wyścigu o najlepszą audycję radiową. Z niedowierzaniem kręcić głową będziecie na tytuły europejskiego DJ-a numer jeden oraz króla producentów, którymi uhonorowano Davida Guettę. Jakby tego było mało, jego album „One love” uznano za hitowe wydawnictwo minionych dwunastu miesięcy. To niewątpliwie był jego rok – ogromnego skoku popularności temu artyście nie sposób odmówić.
W kategoriach promocyjnych przewodzi Armada, a sprzętowych tradycyjnie już wygrywa Pioneer, strategicznie ujawniając swoje produkty w miarę zbliżania się daty WMC.
Patrząc przez nasz lokalny, polski pryzmat, nominacje wyglądały by prawdopodobnie zupełnie inaczej. Jak mawia porzekadło: „co kraj to obyczaj”… A USA, ze swoim znanym powszechnie problemem braku rozwiniętej sceny klubowej, jest dość kontrowersyjnym kandydatem na przyznawanie tego typu nagród…
