The event is part of Mannequin Records’ 15 Years Anniversary Tour, which includes Warsaw’s Praga Centrum on the list alongside Berlin’s Tresor and Atonal, New York’s BNCC, La Station in Paris, Tbilisi’s underground super club Khidi, Control in Bucharest, and Amsterdam Dance Event.

Both heavyweights need no introduction. The unique paths they have choosen for their outstanding careers will intersect on December 9th, at Praga Centrum.

Berghain legend Marcel Dettmann has been awaited in the Polish capital for far too long! His fans have almost certainly traced his latest album, recently released on Dekmantel, back to one of the first Selectors compilations that was published by the label 10 years ago. Curated by Dettmann, it exposed the musical roots of the future superstar: new wave, post-punk, industrial, and EBM… Sounds intriguing and familiar for those who follow Alessandro Adriani and Mannequin Records on a mission of „Spreading cold waves since 2008.”

Joining the headliners are Elena Sizova, a regular in Warsaw’s nightlife (Radio Rituel, Jasna1), Dtekk who runs Up To Date festival as well as FOMO club in Lodz, and Tasha Safari, an up-and-coming Azerbaijan-born techno DJ and producer currently making waves out of Berlin.

MARCEL DETTMANN
Marcel Dettmann is recognized as one of the most influential proponents of contemporary techno. Widely associated with iconic places – Berlin, Berghain and Hard Wax – Dettmann stays true to his roots by consistently innovating his interpretation of electronic music, integrating art with the scene. Active since the mid 90’s, Dettmann quests tirelessly for new ways and inspiration to further develop his own concept of electronic music. As a curator and producer, Dettmann fosters the call to create in a way which is equally timeless and innovative. His own releases comprise three albums on Ostgut Ton and, most recently, his first album in ten years, Fear of Programming, via Dekmantel Records.

ALESSANDRO ADRIANI
The Berlin-based Italian goes further than your average “crate digger” in pursuit of information about sounds, styles, artists and record labels, spending countless hours to unearthing the stories behind the music he loves. Adriani’s zest for deep cuts has naturally shaped his other musical endeavors, besides Mannequin Records that was voted Label of the Month by Resident Advisor in 2017 and by Tsugi Magazine in September, 2023. Over the years, his works have gained praise from buyers and critics for its open-minded blend of reissues, archival collections and fresh productions.

As a producer, Adriani naturally draws on his own musical inspirations and his works reflect his love for electronic hardware. Under his own name, Adriani has built a reputation for delivering heavy, sharp and bold club cuts for such celebrated labels as L.I.E.S., Stroboscopic Artefacts, Jealous God, Pinkman and, of course, Mannequin Records.

MANNEQUIN RECORDS
Originally from Rome, currently based in Berlin, Mannequin Records has gained recognition by presenting an impressive collection of synth wave and dark sound releases. The label is known for its genre-bending diversity – their releases range from post-punk to techno, from experimental to ambient.
