WILL LEWIS
A frequency flushed with ground shaking bass, fused with a high degree of emotive nuance, best describes the Will Lewis sound. The storytelling artist blurs the lines between peak time driven heaters and his love for the more euphoric side of the soundscape. This, in turn, creates a new dynamic in sound.
London’s latest techno breakout star has amassed quite the reputation over the last few years, fueled by his conductorship of an audience that commands attention.
Taking a crowd on a journey is the pinnacle of DJs art. Will Lewis symbolises the modern-day electronic music story with a masterclass in sound and curation. The evidence is undeniable as he drives through his non-conforming patterns with infectious hooks, melodies and subtle breakdowns before releasing that earth-shattering bass that sends shivers down the spine.
The formulation of his sets plays a big part in the Will Lewis reputation rise. Each performance is, exquisitely, created. The connection between the difference in techno sub-genre sounds is breached. This seamlessly delivers contrast at the most important of moments.
Production has been at the heartbeat of the next chapter in the story.
The ever studious Will has been working hard to develop, define and create over the last few years. This time has been used wisely, locked in the studio when not on residency duties at the world-renowned EGG London.
The residency has enabled exposure to his rare talent. Will has shared the stage with some of the highest- profile DJs on the planet, including Sam Paganini, Lily Palmer, Layton Giordani, Weska and Marco Faraone.
Currently working on creating a unique sound that integrates the broad techno sound-spectrum is the main focus, spending hour upon hour locked away in front of numerous software programmes and plugins, expertly developing his new project.
Never one to stand still, Will has recently launched his own techno imprint, Gravity Records. The label’s sound ethos hones in on the raw techno underbelly and euphoric nature of the genre.
The time is now for Will Lewis as his emergence on the scene and indisputable breakout continue to place a demand on his name.
